Expert Statement

My research focuses on interrelations between culture and crises, particularly on how they influence and determine each other. Most recently, I have initiated and conceptualized the online lecture series “Cultures of the Crisis. Corona and beyond – Problems, Practices, Perspectives”, which is currently live: https://www.rug.nl/research/research-let/onderzoek-per-vakgebied/europese-talen-en-culturen/live-lectures-cultures-of-the-crisis-corona-and-beyond
