Expert Statement
My work relates to the development of the cultural and creative industries and their relationships with other fields, such as tourism and events. My focus is particularly on cities and the development of cultural and creative policies, and the relationship of creativity and urban processes. Recent work includes the analysis of policy options for cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Lisbon and Copenhagen in the face of growing user pressure and the need to develop innovative responses to the challenges of urban growth.
