Historian of Medicine and Medical and Health Humanities researcher, specialising in 19th/20th century medicine & public health, history of health communication, & interdisciplinary perspectives on health and medicine today – especially women’s health, HIV/AIDS, disability, social determinants of health, and the role of culture. Writing a book on the social relevance of medical museums and developing new research on history and legacies of global health education campaigns, focusing on the WHO.
