Expert Statement

I am a political economist interested in the study of how the global economy impacts on struggles for development and social justice, particularly in the Global South. Empirically, my research focuses on China’s relations with Latin America and the Caribbean. More recently, I have also written a number of articles on the contemporary transformation of politics following decades of neoliberal globalisation. I have been trained in China Studies, Development Studies, International Studies, and Political Geography.
